Background Blur, Virtual Backgrounds and AI Noise Removal
Blur the room or put a picture behind you in a call, and take typing and fans out of your microphone.
Each person chooses in the device settings of the call: none, blur, a built-in background, one of the site pictures or, where the site allows it, a picture from their own device that is never uploaded. AI Noise Removal has a test that plays the same seconds without and with it.
Everything runs in the browser of the person, so no video or sound goes to a server for it. The site downloads the effects once in Settings, Calls, Video Effects. It is in Better Messages 3.2, the WebSocket version.
