Better Messages 3.2
A release about calls: device settings, background blur, virtual backgrounds and AI Noise Removal, group calls with no fixed size, recording and new tools for moderators, with website sign-in, an app lock and upgraded call screens in the mobile app.
Calls in the WebSocket version get device settings to test the camera, microphone and speaker before anyone sees or hears you, background blur, virtual backgrounds, AI Noise Removal, keyboard shortcuts and a hint for people who talk while muted. Group calls have no fixed size and can be recorded with a transcript, and moderators get Spotlight for Everyone, the Participants list, layouts, picture in picture, Remove and Ban from Calls and End for Everyone.
The mobile app signs members in through the login page of the site, locks with Face ID, Touch ID or the fingerprint, opens from links to the site, lists the signed-in devices and has Delete Account on every site. Its login screen is new, and its call screens get what the website has.
Also new: Mark as Unread, a flag in the messenger when messages wait for a moderator, Show who did it in system messages, AI bots in the online list of chat rooms, and AI keys sealed in a keychain that the WordPlus plugins on the site share.
The mobile apps need a new build for their part of the release. A site that goes back to 3.1 has to save its AI keys again.
