Live Streaming in Chat Rooms
A chat room can host a live stream, shown beside the messages like a group video call, with the room as the chat of the stream.
With the Live Stream plugin, on the same WordPlus Cloud subscription as the WebSocket version, a host goes live from the chat room with a camera or a shared screen, or from OBS. While the stream is live it opens in the room by itself, and viewers get sound, quality, reactions, picture-in-picture and full screen in the call controls.
The room stays a normal chat room, with history, moderation and notifications, so the audience talks about what they watch in the same place. Each stream chooses who can watch: everyone, members only or chosen roles.
